Driver Charged With 2nd DUI, Unrestrained Toddler Found In Car

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Police arrested a woman who they said was driving drunk with an unrestrained toddler in the vehicle.

Authorities took 25-year-old Latasha Black, of Nashville, into custody after she was stopped on Carter near Natchez Street around 2:45 a.m. Sunday for a traffic violation.

Officers determined she was drunk, and they found her three-year-old child in the back seat unrestrained.

Black has been charged with her second offense of DUI, along with other charges of violation of implied consent law, driving on a revoked driver’s license, violation of the child restraint law, and reckless endangerment.

She was being held in the Williamson County Jail on a $7,500 bond and has been scheduled to appear in court at 1 p.m. September 24.
