A portion of Burkitt Road in Nashville was closed for several hours after a driver struck a pole, downing power lines in the area.
The incident happened early Thursday morning near Westcott Lane in the Nolensville area.
The cause of the crash was unknown. However, the driver was taken into custody.
A wrecker was called to the scene and a new pole was installed. The scene finally cleared more than four hours after the wreck.
