NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A driver was injured after crashing into the front of a frozen yogurt shop in Green Hills.
The incident happened around 10: 20 a.m. Monday at the Sweet Cece’s on Hillsboro Pike, not far from Hillsboro High School. The cause of the crash was unknown.
The person was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver's identity was not released.
A photo from the scene showed a car sitting at the entrance of the store, where at least one of the windows was broken. The vehicle also apparently plowed through the brick wall in front of the building.
The store was not open at the time of the incident. No one else was hurt.
Witnesses said they believed the driver suffered a medical condition before crashing.
