CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The first fatality crash to occur in Clarksville in 2019 happened on Saturday on College Street.
Police report that Donta Peterson, 32, was traveling south on College Street around 3:30p.m. when for some unknown reason crossed into the northbound lanes and crashed into an unoccupied building.
Peterson was unrestrained at the time of the accident and transported by ambulance to Tennova Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
