Part of Dickerson Pike in Nashville was closed after a driver reportedly hit and killed a pedestrian.
It happened at Dickerson Pike and East Trinity Lane around 7:30 p.m.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said 45-year-old Josh Strong died at the scene and the driver was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
No charges have been placed against the driver.
