MAURY CO., Tenn. (WTVF) — Storm floodwaters led to a necessary water rescue in Maury County Saturday evening.

Fire crew responded to Rally Hill Road around 4:40 pm. Spring Hill Fire Department was also called to help, along with other emergency teams.

On the scene, a pickup truck had tried to cross a small creek when the vehicle was swept away about 150 yards. The driver was trapped on top of the vehicle.

The team used a raft to rescue the driver, who had no injuries.
