June 15 was named as 615 day, celebrating the Nashville area code and everything Music City has to offer.
Local company Project 615 filled Fatherland Street with food trucks, live music, and local shopping Wednesday.
Co-owner Derrick Evans said the reason behind 615 Day was to bring small businesses together to celebrate the uniqueness of Nashville.
"Well one of my things was just to bring small businesses together and smaller non-profits and really just come together and have a free block party for all the people in the area and just to really celebrate Nashville,” Evans said.
Anyone could celebrate 615 Day by taking advantage of Project 615's 20% off deal on their website until midnight Wednesday night.
