Residents are upset over illegal dumping after they found a deer carcass, a hot tub, and even a toilet in an East Nashville alley.

An anonymous resident sent us photos from the alley between Lischey, Gatewood, and Stainback Avenues.

Neighbors feel that dumping a deer carcass is the last straw. They want something to be done.

"It's really sad because this is a really pretty part of town… at least it was."

A neighbor who did not want to be identified said, "Makes me really upset ya know. We pay a lot of money now for homes in East Nashville for the neighborhood to look like this, and kids are playing out here."

Residents can call 311 or visit hub.nashville.gov to report any junk that's being dumped in Metro alleys.

Metro Nashville Public Works has a list of legal dumping sites on its website.

For the disposal of roadkill or dead animals, you can call Metro Public Works at 615-862-5000.
