NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The name of Jackie Robinson is known all around the world. Robinson became the first African American man to play on a Major League Baseball team.

The name of George Shuba isn't quite as well known, but he and Jackie Robinson made history on April 18, 1946, and taught a lesson to the world, and most recently to students from Head Magnet Middle School.
