Students at Rockvale Middle School in Rutherford County learned about the Electoral College just in time for the presidential election.
They learned how the electoral vote and the popular vote have been different, but how both have also been necessary in selecting a president.
The most unusual aspect of their lesson was they actually get to vote in a mock election, and they did it in actual voting booths that their parents will use in November.
