NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee State University Students moved into their dorms Tuesday, as the fall semester begins soon.

Students and parents participated in “Move-In Day” at TSU, and the first hurdle for some, was pushing the cart loaded down with all their belongings, up the hill to the dorm room.

Plenty of parents helped out, as they dropped off their freshmen students.

“I kind of have to let go a little more because he is the baby, but it’s a wonderful journey,” said Daphne Myers whose son is a freshman. “You prepare them for this, and when they’re ready, you’ve just got to let them go.”

Classes are set to begin on August 24th.
