A back to school bash has wrapped up in Nashville.
The inaugural event sponsored by the Yana organization provided school supplies for up to 150 students Sunday.
The event offered more than free school supplies though. Venders offered locally made products, and food trucks were also on hand.
The founder and CEO of the organization behind the event said she knows how difficult preparing to head back to school can be for single parents.
Some of the proceeds benefited the Yana organization, which was formed to provide supportive living environments for women recovering from addictions.
