The National Weather Service announced that an EF-0 tornado hit Trig and Christian counties during severe storms.
The two rounds of thunderstorms hit Middle Tennessee Monday night. NWS officials confirmed on Tuesday that an EF-1 tornado hit Lewis County and a separate EF-1 tornado hit Decatur County.
NWS officials said two people witnessed the EF-0 tornado. A total of six barns was damaged - four in Trigg county and two in Christian county.
It also leveled a small barn, blew a house porch roof off and downed numerous tree branches.
