An EF-1 tornado has been confirmed in Fentress County.
The tornado touched down in Clarkrange during storms that passed through that area around midnight, early Wednesday morning.
It's believed the tornado had a max wind speed of 90 miles per hour. Officials with the National Weather Service went out Thursday to survey the damage.
The path of the tornado was half a mile long and 50 yards wide. It hit a home on Campground Road. An outbuilding was also shifted off of its foundation, and a barn had significant roof damage. Another barn had moderate damage, and a windmill was destroyed.
