Elderly-only property accepting applications beginning Dec. 3

Posted

Gernert Studio Apartments, an elderly-only property will begin accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis for new residents at noon on Dec. 3.

In order to qualify to live at this property, applicants must be at least 62 years old and have a valid email address.

The new online only application is more extensive than applications offered by Gernert in the past and will require more time and information than previously needed.

A sample application is available online in order to give applicants a better understanding of what they will need in order to be considered for an apartment at this location.

Assistance will be available to those who need it by Catholic Charities of Tennessee from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday during the period during which applications are being accepted. This help will be available at the C.E. McGruder Family Resource Center at 2013 25th Ave. North.

Additional assistance can also be found at the Gernert Studio Apartments management office between 1 and 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 or Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018.

The Gernert Studio Apartments is located at 1101 Edgehill Ave.

Applications will continue to be accepted until the deadline on Dec. 10 at 3 p.m.
