NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An exit ramp onto Ellington Parkway has reopened after a semi-truck overturned and blocked the lane for hours.
The incident was reported early Thursday morning at exit 15 just on Briley Parkway.
Details of the crash were limited, but the semi apparently overturned near the ramp leading onto Ellington.
The westbound exit ramp was blocked as a result of the wreck. Eastbound traffic was not affected.
The driver of the truck was taken to an area hospital with a head injury, but is expected to recover. It was not known what he was hauling.
Crews were able to lift the truck and worked to remove it. The ramp reopened around 6:20 a.m.
