The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested an Elmwood man after he allegedly had a sexual relationship with a minor.
Shawn Cody Boyd was arrested and charged with aggravated statutory rape and solicitation of a minor.
TBI officials received the tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
TBI Agents, the Smith County Sheriff’s Office and the Cookeville Police Department, began investigating Boyd and found that he allegedly engaged in sexual contact with a minor.
Boyd was booked into the Smith County Jail.
