A Wofford football player collapsed during their game against Tennessee Tech.
The game stopped as paramedics were called to the field for the medical emergency.
The player, was on the sidelines when he collapsed.
Per NCAA rules, Putnam County EMS responded and radioed more dispatchers from across the field. They performed CPR on the field.

An ambulance transported the player to Cookeville Regional Medical Center. It was unclear what caused him to collapse.
He was awake, with a pulse and breathing during while being transported. They were expected to be ok.
