WHITE HOUSE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man who escaped police custody is back in jail after he was found in the attic of a home.
Dreon Key was found at home in White House Thursday.
Officers found a vehicle Key had been seen in days earlier that had been stolen from Spring Hill.
When Key was discovered in the attic of a nearby home, he initially refused to come down. He surrendered after gas was introduced by law enforcement.
Key was wanted by police after escaping custody in a correction officer's vehicle in April while he was being transported between Sumner and Bedford Counties for a robbery charge.
