Esports arena coming to Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Esports competitions will be coming to Nashville in a big way.

On Monday, the company announced they will be bringing an esports arena to the mid-state. However, there weren't many details made available.

The company's social media post said "...Stay tuned for more information on the Grand Opening & giveaways that are on the way! If you are from Nashville let’s us know what you are expecting from us! We are here for the community, drop a comment!"

Esports are video game competitions that can be played by professional players as individuals or teams. They often play for large money prizes. In some tournaments players could win millions if they come out on top.
