An event to raise funds was held for a Wilson County Sheriff’s Office deputy diagnosed with cancer.
Saturday, the Team Cagle event was held at the Wilson County Fairgrounds for Deputy Justin Cagle to raise money for his medical costs.
The event included a silent auction, food, music, children’s activities, and a shooting competition.

Friends said Cagle worked for the Mt. Juliet Police Department for ten years and has now been with the Wilson County Sheriffs Office Directed Patrol Unit and Special Response Team.
