A second annual event to raise money for a little girl with a rare terminal disease was held in Williamson County Sunday.
"Light the Way for Team Elliott" was held tonight at the Eastern Flank Battlefield Park in Franklin.
People got to enjoy live music, face painting, and color your own T-shirts for the kids.
Elliott's parents said this wasn’t the parenthood they expected, but they are thankful their daughter is doing so well.
Elliott is one of only 66 children around the world living with Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata, or RCDP. It’s a rare brain disorder that impairs normal development of several parts of the body.
At 16-months-old, Elliott weighs only 9 pounds and 2 ounces, and is not expected to get much bigger.
The couple has a Facebook page where they share more about their journey. You can learn more here: Facebook.com/Team-Elliott.
