LEBANON, Tenn. (WTVF) — Chaos broke out at the Wilson County Fair Saturday night after a fight lead to the false report of gunfire.
Social media erupted with the false report.
Fortunately, police said there was no shooting, just a fight between a group of teenagers.
Lebanon Police Chief Mike Justice said the fight broke out near the midway area of the fairgrounds, and the general public was not in danger.
After reviewing surveillance footage from the fair, several people were taken into custody. Police said more charges could come.
After the situation was resolved, the fair continued on as normal.
