Dozens of families across Middle Tennessee got a free meal at Logan's Roadhouse restaurants.
Logan's partnered with Second Harvest to treat families in need to a holiday meal.
The event took place at four different locations in the mid-state.
Family, food and live entertainment made for a good time, but the event also highlighted a serious issue.
“I think sometimes we don't really know how many families are fighting food insecurity, and we don't really understand the need. Certainly working with second harvest, I've come to realize there's a big strong need in Middle Tennessee; that's what we're here for,” said Sam Borgese, Logan’s Roadhouse.
For every dollar donated to Second Harvest, about four people are fed. To learn more about donating visit the Second Harvest website.
