A family in Trousdale County was held at gunpoint by three men who broke into their home.
The crime happened around 8 p.m. Friday on Claiborne Lane in Hartsville.
The sheriff said the three men were all wearing masks and had shotguns when they came into the home and duct taped the three people inside.
They then took one of the victims and fled from the scene.
Reports stated the suspects demanded money, but when the victim couldn't give them any, they forced him out of the car in a rural part of Wilson County near the Rutherford County line.
The sheriff said they have no suspects at this time. Fortunately, no one at the home was seriously injured.
