Family of four displaced after Germantown apartment fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A family of four is displaced following an apartment fire in Germantown early Saturday morning.

The fire happened at the Village on the Green Apartments on Ed Temple Boulevard. It started in and was contained to one apartment unit.

According to the Nashville Fire Department, a family of four was inside at the time of the fire. They were evacuated safely. No one was injured in the incident.

A fire inspector will determine if it is safe to stay in the building. In the meantime, all other residents in the building are allowed back in their homes. Should power issues arise, Nashville Electric Service will assist.

The unit where the fire took place is a total loss. The cause has not yet been determined.
