Two people have been killed in a crash on Interstate 40 in Humphreys County.
Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said they’re investigating at the scene of the fatal crash in the westbound lanes between mile markers 147 and 148.
Authorities had not released details on the two-vehicle crash that happened around 6:15 p.m. Saturday.
The roadway was closed to westbound traffic. Drivers were asked to seek alternate routes. Eastbound drivers were not affected. See more here. Crews expected the roadway to be cleared by 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
