One motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving two motorcycles and a pickup truck in Dickson County.

Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said the wreck happened around 3:15 p.m. Saturday in the 3300 block of Yellow Creek Road.

Reports stated the two motorcycles were headed north. One was driven by 55-year-old Jess W. Percival IV, and his passenger was 56-year-old Donna Jackson. The second motorcycle was driven by 48-year-old Bradley T. Mangrum.

Authorities said Percival crossed over into oncoming traffic and hit a GMC Sierra, driven by 45-year-old Thomas E. Hollis, head-on.

Percival's motorcycle then crossed back over into the northbound lanes where Mangrum's motorcycle struck him.

Percival was killed in the crash. His passenger, Jackson, was injured.

Also injured were Mangrum and Hollis. Reports stated Hollis' passenger in the Sierra, identified as 26-year-old Robert Tolliver, was not injured.

Officials confirmed the three victims on the motorcycles were wearing helmets.

The roadway was closed at the scene of the crash Saturday while officials investigated.
