It was billed as the trip of a lifetime -- part of a sick child's wish to go to Walt Disney World with his family.
But now, that child's father is out of a job after he says his employer told him he'd been taking too much time off of work.
Will Orr's son Ayden has a severe form of epilepsy, one that can even stop him from breathing when he has seizures.
Will admits he's taken a lot of time off work to attend doctors visits and surgeries for his son, and this year the Make-a-Wish foundation granted his son's wish to go to Disney World.
But before the trip, Will says his employer fired him for taking too much time off work.
"I was hurt, I was devastated, because I know how much my son needs health insurance," Orr said.
We spoke to Will's former employer, Foundations Recovery Network, who released the following statement:
"We do not comment on any particular employment situations involving any of our current or former employees. However, Foundations Recovery Network would not terminate an employee solely for taking pre-approved time off for such a trip."
