NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — FEMA and TEMA are suspending in-person operations for Tennessee tornado victims, out of coronavirus precaution. They will continue to provide assistance online and over the phone.
The agencies announced that Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams, Disaster Recovery Centers, and Mobile Registration and Intake Centers will close March 22 at 6 p.m.
Storm survivors in Davidson, Putnam, and Wilson counties can still apply for federal financial assistance and talk with FEMA workers online or over the phone, at 1-800-621-3362.
The deadline to apply for disaster assistance is May 4.
