MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A suspect wanted in two home invasions crashed a stolen car Thursday morning when he collided with another driver.

Hendersonville police said 30-year-old Thomas Metcalf stole a car from the Hillwood Drive area early this morning. He later abandoned it after getting stuck in a grassy area in the Mansker Farms subdivision.

Police say he was involved in two home invasions before stealing another car. He ended up crashing the car on Long Hollow Pike when he and another driver hit head-on.

A Goodlettsville Fire and Rescue official confirmed one of the vehicles was on fire for a “considerable time." The nature of their injuries was not known.

Metcalf was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, theft over $10,000, theft over $2,500 and two counts of theft under $1000.
