NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A popular Thai restaurant near downtown Nashville was damaged overnight in a fire.
The blaze was reported around 10:30 p.m. Sunday at Thai Phooket, located near Nissan Stadium.
When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation; however, officials said it appears to have started in the kitchen.
The restaurant remains closed and it’s unclear when it will reopen.
