To follow Major League Baseball recommendations, the Nashville Sounds have implemented some new safety measures.
One big change was protective netting behind home plate has been extended to cover the seating area behind both dugouts.
Sounds executives said reaction time for a foul ball in those premium seats is almost nonexistent, and they strive to make sure all fans remain safe during games.
The Nashville Sounds kick off the 2016 season at First Tennessee Park on April 7th.
