Five suspects, including 15-year-old, arrested on gun charges in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say five suspects, including a juvenile, were arrested on gun possession charges after a search warrant was served at a home in Nashville.

Metro police say the search warrant was executed at a home on Meadow Court, located not far from Brick Church Pike.

Investigators recovered eight guns, two of which were stolen from unlocked cars in Nashville and Clarksville. They also found two rifle magazines and several rounds of ammunition underneath two couches. They say other guns were found in a closet.

Police say 20-year-old Keontay Martin, 21-year-old Keshawn Martin and 27-year-old Eric Jordan were each charged with felon in possession of a weapon.

Keontay Martin, who was found hiding in the attic, had outstanding warrants out for his arrest after police say he ran from officers on April 1. They say he dropped an AK-47 pistol when he bailed from a vehicle.

Police say 18-year-old Dejuan Cox was charged with unlawful gun possession and a 15-year-old was charged with juvenile handgun possession.
