NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It's a group that's out to show that a Metro Police Officer is not guilty of first degree murder, despite his indictment on that charge this month.

The Fraternal Order of Police is starting a new campaign that they say is meant to educate people about the upcoming Officer Delke case, but the family of Daniel Hambrick - the person Delke is accused of killing - says it will poison the minds of the jurors.

The Nashville FOP Blames the D-A's office.... calling the charges "politically motivated."

"District attorney Funk is trying to pander to people who are going to vote for him in the next election," said James Smallwood with the Nashville FOP.

The D.A.'s office declined to comment for this story.
