NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Former mayoral candidate Jeremy Kane has endorsed David Fox for mayor.
The announcement was made Thursday afternoon in a press conference in Nashville. This comes as Fox and Megan Barry both picked up major endorsements this week.
"It's a great day for our campaign, delighted to have Jeremy Kane here beside me," said Fox.
Officials with Nashville’s Fraternal Order of Police said they would be endorsing Fox, and Nashville Firefighters announced their endorsement for Barry.
Kane was not the only former candidate publicly announcing his support. Last week, Charles Robert Bone endorsed Barry for mayor.
Barry and Fox will face each other in a run-off election set for September 10. Early voting is already underway and lasts until September 5.
