A former corrections officer was indicted for trying to smuggle in drugs into the Putnam County Jail.
Billy Farley was charged for allegedly bringing drugs into the jail.
He was charged with with with official misconduct, conspiracy to introduce contraband in a penal facility and possession with intent to distribute.
It was unclear if he gave the pills to anyone. Farley had been a Putnam County corrections deputy since 2013.
