MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A former Montgomery County Jail Corporal was indicted on multiple rape charges.
36-year-old Brett Badgett was charged with two counts of statutory rape and two counts of rape.

He worked for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. County officials say the assault happened in July 2012 just a few months before Badgett was hired.
He was terminated earlier this month.
