MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WTVF) — A former Rutherford County deputy has been indicted for patronizing prostitution, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced.
TBI special agents began investigating 35-year-old Kentrell Roper in May, when he was still employed by the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office. Roper is accused of paying a woman for a sex act.
He was indicted by a grand jury on November 3 and arrested three days later. He has since been released from jail.
