NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A former Tennessee State University football player was killed in a shooting in Florida.
Detectives there say an unidentified suspect shot Trabis Ward, 31, in the parking lot of a liquor store early Saturday morning.
Ward played as a running back for TSU from 2009 to 2012. The university's football program expressed condolences on Twitter.
