Vanderbilt officials have announced the death of a former head football coach, George MacIntyre.
MacIntyre was 76 years old and battled suffered a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
He coached the Commodores from 1979-1985, leading them to 8-4 record and Hall of Fame Bowl appearance in 1982.
Vandy officials posted several loving messages to social media.
MacIntyre battled with MS for nearly 20 years.
