FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Five people involved in a theft ring with ties to Romania are in jail after their arrest by Franklin PD.

Brentwood and Franklin PD recognized the two people inside as suspects in a similar crime committed in April.
Police say more than $100,000 in stolen property and merchandise from across the United States was found in the suspect vehicle.
Additional charges are expected against the suspects from agencies across the country.

Iolena-Daniela Mortogan, 20, Lucia Dumitru, 42 and Giana Gheorghe, 33, are all being held on a $50,000 bond on theft charges.
