FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Franklin police arrested a driver Monday night and charged him with DUI after he was found pantless on the side of the road near his car.
James Scott of Brentwood was taken into custody around 11 p.m. on Highway 96 West near Glass Street.
Dispatchers received a call about a reckless driver and a short time later an officer found the vehicle facing the wrong direction, abandoned on the shoulder.
Scott was found behind a nearby bush. Police say he did not have on pants or shoes and his shirt was on backwards.
The 44-year-old is charged with DUI and violation of the implied consent law.
He is free on a $7,500 bond and due in court July 2nd.
