Franklin Police Investigate 4 Vehicle Burglaries

Police in Franklin have been investigating after a burglar broke into four vehicles.

The smash and grab burglaries happened between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday.

Three of the burglaries happened at the Williamson County Recreation Center on Fulton Greer. The fourth took place outside of a business on 3rd Avenue North.

Reports stated victims left valuables in sight in all four cases. The suspect broke out windows to get the items.

Authorities said items like backpacks, purses, briefcases, and their contents were stolen.

The suspect has been described as standing around 6’ tall. They said he was a passenger in a newer model Chrysler 300.

Police warned the public to pay close attention and not leave valuable items in vehicles.
