FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Franklin police have issued a warning about a phone scam in which someone calls asking for donations.
Police tweeted about the scam Tuesday morning, saying the caller is asking for donations to benefit the police department. The number they are calling from is 731-4**-1312.

Authorities said money donated to that source does not benefit the department. No additional details were known.
