Franklin teen arrested for shooting father with stolen gun

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police arrested a teenager for shooting his father Saturday morning.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Grenadier Drive around 4:30 am. Hunter Pelham, 19, had shot his father with a stolen gun.

The victim, 44, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Pelham is charged with assault, with the possibility of additional charges. He's held on a $50,000 bond.
