Metro Police said they have been following "very strong leads" as they hunt for the man who killed a 23-year old nurse by stabbing her to death in her own apartment Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, friends opened up about Tiffany Ferguson, who was a nurse at Saint Thomas West.
Those who knew Tiffany, called her silly "the most fun person to be around in the world." They said she would go on Mission trips to other countries and always lend a helping hand.
"She was a giver, she rarely took. She enjoyed her time being a critical care nurse, she loved helping others," said Jaime Minor.
Police at the Midtown Hills Precinct have scheduled a community meeting some time this week with neighbors to discuss safety and security.
