A fugitive led police on a high speed chase after a homeowner found the person inside their home.
According to the Humphreys County Sheriff, a resident returned home to find a burglar inside.
That's when the armed suspect ran out of the home and took off in a vehicle.
Deputies located the vehicle and chased it through Humphreys County and into Houston County.
Officials say shots have been fired during the chase, but it was unclear if any injuries have been reported.
