Posted

A fund has been set up to help the family of a Maury County girl who was killed when a pickup truck rear-ended her family’s car.

Kirstynn Haven Edmiston died Monday morning in a collision at the intersection of Lewisburg Highway and Seavy Hight Road, just west of Interstate 65 in Columbia.

She was a 4th grader at Culleoka Unit School.

Haven’s sister, mother and cousin were all injured in the crash.

An account has been set up to help the family as they make funeral arrangements. If you would like to donate, you can do so at any Regions Bank in Middle Tennessee.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol said the driver of the car that crashed into Haven is being investigated for distracted driving.

So far, no charges have been filed.
