Family and friends of Pat Summitt said goodbye to the basketball legend at her funeral in Henrietta.

The private funeral service was held Thursday, two days after Summitt died in Knoxville.

She had been fighting a battle with early onset dementia Alzheimer's type for several years.

She remains the winningest coach in basketball history of any team - men's or women's - and is credited with taking women's basketball to a new level.

A public celebration of life was set for July 14 at 7 p.m. on the University of Tennessee campus at Thompson Boling Arena.
